Supporting women through their aviation careers.
Born from a desire to become a global leader in the advancement of women in aviation through education, promotion, mentorship and empowerment, L.I.F.T. is an organization of over 8,000 female pilots and student pilots. Our 501(c)3 non-profit organization is focused on being a comprehensive asset for female aviators including scholarships, industry resources, and (most importantly,) a support network.
Financial Support
LIFT was first founded to be a scholarship fund. Through personal funds and private donations, we have been able to award over $20,000 in scholarships since 2018.
Community Support
LIFT has an impressive Facebook presence, with almost 9,000 female aviators (current and aspiring) in the group. We plan to expand our support system by implementing new programs. For now, we’re focusing on a member job board and mentor program.
Educational Support
Through programs such as our Lending Library, members are able to use books for their training, and return them once their training goals are reached.
